Ramireña Creek
Ramireña Creek traverses approximately 2.5 miles through Dos Amigos Ranch, adding scenic beauty and exceptional wildlife habitat to the property. As a seasonal creek, it typically flows following significant rainfall events before continuing its course toward the Nueces River, contributing to the region’s natural watershed.
While the creek does not flow year-round, its mature hardwoods, dense native brush, and rich creek-bottom habitat create ideal bedding areas and travel corridors for wildlife. This riparian corridor is known for producing and holding some of the most elusive, mature, and impressive true South Texas creek-bottom whitetail bucks, offering hunters the opportunity to pursue the kind of trophy deer that have made South Texas legendary. Beyond whitetail, the creek also provides valuable habitat for Rio Grande turkey, blackbuck antelope, and a variety of native wildlife, making it one of the ranch’s most significant natural features.
Water Distribution System
